IN A WORLD OF STONE

At the age of 24, while working as a photographer, a friend bet him that he'd never drive across Africa. Six months later he and his Landrover were on their first Sahara crossing. On that first trip Eddie discovered his passion for Kilimanjaro, a "world of stone". |

MADE OF STEEL
Since then, Eddie has crossed the Sahara desert 34 times, and climbed Kilimanjaro 41 times - and he's still climbing. By continuing to lead expeditions Eddie keeps his finger on the pulse of Tusker's operation. His Kilimanjaro guides have nicknamed him, "Nondo".
It means "Steel Bar."
Eddie Frank is our "steel bar", and your 33-year guarantee. |

THE FIRST - MEDICALLY TRAINED GUIDES
Tusker Trail was the first company to establish a Definitive Medical Training Course for its guides.
Since then, some of our competitors have realized the value of advertising "medically trained guides".
However, if you dig deep, you'll find that none of them provide them with DEFINITIVE MEDICAL TRAINING on a regular basis.
We feel they're off to a good start. |
